- UNITAR will host a public event to mark the culmination of the in-person workshop for the Japan-funded Leaders for a Free and Open Indo-Pacific: Sea and Human Security training programme on 21 February 2025 at the Elizabeth Rose Conference Hall, United Nations University, Tokyo.
- The event, titled "Ways Forward for Ocean Action in the Indo-Pacific" is open to both in-person and online participation and will be livestreamed on UNITAR Hiroshima's YouTube channel.
- The programme will feature a keynote lecture, policy brief presentations by selected training participants, and an interactive panel discussion.
