A group of Western Sydney University academics have been named amongst the most-highly cited researchers in the world in the latest Clarivate Highly Cited (HiCis) Researchers list for 2021 .
Eight University researchers and three affiliate researchers were named amongst this year's prestigious list – double the University's 2020 result.
Clarivate's Highly Cited Researchers list recognises researchers from around the world who demonstrate significant influence in their chosen field or fields. This is based on the publication of multiple, highly-cited papers during the last decade, from January 2010 to December 2020.
The University's highly-cited researchers for 2021 are:

Professor Deborah Sweeney, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Enterprise and International) congratulated all the researchers on this outstanding result.
