The University of Tasmania is lighting up the Centenary Building in teal this February, in support of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
The University has joined other supporters in helping to "Turn Tassie Teal" with the Tasmanian JackJumpers hosting a Teal Game in support of local gynaecological cancer foundation, S.H.E (Support, Hope, Education).
S.H.E raises awareness of the prevalence, detection and severity of gynaecological diseases.
The JackJumpers will hold fundraising and awareness activities in the lead up to the Teal Game against the Perth Wildcats at MyState Bank Arena on February 28.
All funds raised as part of the game will be donated directly to S.H.E to support the foundation's dream of launching a purpose-built wellness centre for Tasmanian cancer patients
