Unlawful Wounding, Nundah

Detectives from Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating following an unlawful wounding incident in Nundah this morning, October 31.

Emergency services were called to a Florence Street property shortly after midnight following multiple reports of shots fired.

Initial investigations indicate a 26-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his lower extremities during a break and enter.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 24-year-old woman who was also home at the time sustained minor injuries.

Unknown offenders left the scene prior to police arrival.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
