Designed and tailored specifically for Aboriginal graduates, the WA Health Aboriginal Graduate Program offers a two-year graduate employment program with an attractive salary in a culturally safe and supportive workplace.
There are opportunities throughout the WA health system, in both clinical and non-clinical roles to join our 900-strong Aboriginal workforce.
Graduates will have the opportunity to rotate through placements over the two years, applying their degree and career aspirations to different areas of health.
Each candidate will be provided with comprehensive cultural support that provides tailored mentoring and coaching, with development opportunities tailored to the needs of the graduate. Graduates will also receive support to transition to permanent employment on completion of the graduate program.
This program connects you to a growing Aboriginal professional network by interacting with fellow Aboriginal graduates and other WA Health colleagues, where you will gain insights, build lasting friendships and receive support.
Current Graduate Officer, Onike Williams believes it is a great program.
"For those thinking of applying, I say don't hesitate! You won't regret it. You'll help build a culturally strong health system and you will make your family and community proud."
Belong to a community to bring about real change, not only for the Aboriginal community, but for the health and lives of all Western Australians. Choose your future. Your way.
