In numerous interviews obtained exclusively by UN Watch, students of UNRWA schools glorify violence and terrorism against Jews. UN Watch is today releasing one of these interviews, as part of a larger trove of evidence showing how UNRWA leaders work closely with top Hamas officials, UNRWA teachers, school principals, teacher union heads and regional directors either belong to or embrace Hamas, and how all of this leads to students embracing violence and terrorism against Jews.
Mohammad Mahmoud Ali Khalil, a 14-year-old student at UNRWA’s Ein Arik Co-Ed School, a few miles outside of Ramallah, reveals that his UNRWA school teaches him “to fight back and resist” so that “Palestine will be liberated and our lands will return to us by the good grace of Allah.” He sees the Hamas massacre of October 7th as part of the “Right of Return” that is taught in UNRWA schools.
In the interview, the UNRWA student repeatedly embraces violence against Jews, and - contrary to what UNRWA has promised Western taxpayers about what they are teaching - the child says not a word about peace, co-existence, or human rights:
• “The solution for Jerusalem? We kill the Jews. We get rid of the Jews.”
• “Inshallah, [Jews] will be wiped out from all of Palestine by the grace of Allah.
• “Allah will have mercy on our shahids.” (martyrs)
• “We need to fight back and resist so that Palestine will be liberated and our lands will return to us by the good grace of Allah.”
Asked what he wants be when he grows up, Khalil says: “Inshallah, a resistance fighter.”
