Police have located human remains following the search of a rural property northeast of Surat today April 4.
The search began after the vehicle (pictured) belonging to missing woman Tayla Spies was located in the area yesterday afternoon, April 3.
Police and SES made the discovery at approximately 12pm at the Yuleba-Surat Road property at Noorindoo.
The remains are yet to be formally identified.
Investigators are in contact with the Spies family.
Investigations and forensic examinations are continuing.
