**UPDATE** Fatal Crash Near Goulburn

A man has died following a crash in the state's south this morning.

About 10am today (Sunday 16 March 2025), emergency services were called to Crookwell Road, Wayo (approximately 20km north west of Goulburn) following reports of a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, car and light truck carrying six cattle.

On arrival, officers attached to The Hume Police District attempted to assist the motorcyclist, a 79-year-old man; however, he could not be revived and died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident have commenced.

The driver of the car, a man aged 37, and the driver of the truck, a 58-year-old man were uninjured and will be subjected to mandatory testing.

The cattle were uninjured.

Crookwell Road remains closed in both directions. Motorists are advised to check livetraffic.com for updates

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
