Police will prepare a report for coroner following a fatal house fire in Kerang this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Lilac Avenue home following reports of the fire about 12.05am.
Sadly, a body was found inside the property once the fire was extinguished.
Detectives from the Arson and Explosives Squad and an arson chemist attended the property this morning.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
