Police have today completed a search of a rural property at Leyburn as part of the investigation into the murder of Sam Price-Purcell in 2015, Queensland Police say.
The search which commenced on Tuesday, involved police officers from the QPS Dive Squad, Dog Squad (human remains detection dogs) Forensic Services and detectives from Ferny Grove, the Homicide Investigation Unit, Toowoomba CIB and Darling Downs.
The search has resulted in the recovery of items that will now be the subject of further investigation.
The investigation into the murder of Sam Price-Purcell is ongoing and investigators continue to appeal for anyone with information to contact police.
