We're happy to share that work on the Kayigai Trail is progressing well. All surveying work is complete, and the gravel trail has been laid down.
At the northern end, posts have been driven into the ground, and about 70 metres of boardwalk has been constructed, giving us a glimpse of the final look.
We expect the Kayigai Trail, boardwalk and the four viewing platforms to be finished by the end of February.
The Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre Inc. has been successful in receiving funding from the Victorian Government's Regional Tourism Investment Fund to complete the Kayigai Trail Project and has engaged Council to manage and oversee the construction of the Trail.
Stay tuned for more updates and find out more about the Trail at our project page.
