Update On Maddington Serious Crash Involving Pedestrian

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section continue to seek information regarding a serious crash that occurred in Maddington on Monday, 8 July 2024.

About 7.35pm, a dark coloured Mazda Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) travelling north along Albany Highway, struck a male pedestrian near the 7 Eleven service station. The 38-year-old pedestrian sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV initially stopped and checked on the condition of the injured pedestrian before returning to the vehicle and leaving the area.

Major Crash officers are urging the driver of the Mazda SUV to come forward and assist them with the investigation.
