A new community space and metal workshop are among new features at the upgraded Hume Men's Shed – Craigieburn.
The Shed, which officially re-opened today, was upgraded with more than $398,500 in funding from Council and $195,100 from the Hume Men's Shed; which included $97,100 from the Victorian Government and $54,000 from the Federal Government.
Hume Mayor Councillor Carly Moore joined representatives from the Shed and State Member for Yuroke, Ros Spence MP to officially re-open the new facility.

Hume City Council Mayor, Councillor Carly Moore said:
"We know that Men's Sheds are becoming more and more of an important tool in addressing the health and wellbeing of men.
"The re-opening of the upgraded Hume Men's Shed comes at a very important time as we look to reconnect with others and socialise.
"The upgrades mean more community members will be able to embrace opportunities to build friendships and engage in meaningful activities and projects.
"Council is proud to have contributed to this project, which has also been made possible thanks to funding from the Hume Men's Shed, the Victorian and Federal Governments."
