UPMC East's expanded facility located at 410 Pellis Road, in Greensburg will open November 9.
The 2,520 square-foot multi-specialty clinic brings 14 UPMC East clinicians and an array of patient-centered outpatient services to the Greensburg area. "Every day, an average of 228 Greensburg area residents travel to a UPMC location for their health care, said Mark O'Hern, president, UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport. "One of our goals in serving our communities is to make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the high-quality care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently."
Services available include UPMC's orthopaedic and sports medicine, heart and vascular, pain management, gastroenterology, general surgery and Magee Women's Health services. In addition to the scheduled clinical services, walk-in x-ray services are also available. The Greensburg center will be open from 8AM – 5PM Monday through Friday and the full list of specialties and services provided can be found on the clinic's website UPMCEAST.com/Greensburg.
To address the increasing number of patients from the surrounding area seeking high-quality care at UPMC East, the hospital recently expanded specialty services and completed renovation of its emergency department, more than doubling its capacity. The ongoing project aims to add even more on-site convenience for patients with a retail pharmacy, expected to open later this fall.
