UQ's Commitment To Inclusion Recognised

The University of Queensland received two awards at the Pride in Diversity Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards for commitment to inclusion and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

UQ was named as a Gold Employer for the third year, recognising efforts towards inclusion against a national benchmark on LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.

The University also received the 2024 Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion Award, which recognises UQ as one of the best employers for trans and gender diverse people in Australia.

The awards reflect the collective efforts across UQ to create an inclusive culture for staff, students and the broader community, through the UQ Ally Network, and a number of a number of programs and initiatives to support the University's priorities and objectives.
