Secretary Austin highlighted the Department's ongoing activities to meet Ukraine's urgent requirements, including through the provision of air defense, artillery, and anti-armor capabilities as part of the fifty-second Presidential Drawdown package announced today. The two leaders discussed outcomes of the U.S.-Ukraine Defense Industrial Base Conference held earlier in the day, emphasizing the important role U.S. industry plays in supporting Ukraine's forces now and sustaining them into the future. Secretary Austin and Minister Umerov also discussed ongoing work to coordinate the support of some 50 Allies and partners that continue to provide Ukraine with the capabilities it needs to push back on Russia's aggression.
