Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke today with Israeli Minister of Defense Benjamin "Benny" Gantz. Secretary Austin reinforced his commitment to the U.S.-Israel strategic partnership and to our close cooperation to counter security threats and address challenges in the region.
The leaders agreed to continue working closely to deepen and enhance the bilateral defense relationship.
