The U.S. Department of State is proud to highlight new progress on opportunities for cooperation under the U.S-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). Recently, the Vietnam Authority of Information Security (AIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The signing of this MOU facilitates cooperation between the two agencies in strengthening cyber security while further enhancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the United States. Specifically, the MOU seeks to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the United States and Vietnam regarding information/operational technology security, incident response and reporting, and collaboration on cybersecurity incidents.
