Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Dr. Mosab Nasser, the CEO of Fajr Scientific, a company that offers surgical care and other complex medical procedures to vulnerable populations.
The Administrator and Dr. Nasser discussed the dire healthcare situation in Gaza, where many people lack access to even the most basic and essential healthcare services. They also discussed the negative impact that shortages in medical equipment, medicines, and operating rooms have on the already limited availability of critical care.
