Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Howard G. Buffett, Chairman and CEO of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF). They discussed Administrator Power's recent trip to Ukraine and Chairman Buffet's upcoming trip to Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Tanzania. Chairman Buffet provided an update on the Foundation's work, including the ongoing partnership between HGBF and USAID for further support to Ukraine's agriculture sector and HGBF's wider efforts to support Ukraine's resiliency in the face of Russian aggression. Administrator Power reaffirmed the collaboration and highlighted the recent announcement of an additional $250 million for the Agriculture Resilience Initiative-Ukraine following Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
