There is something special about stepping foot on Vanderbilt's campus.
No matter where you look, there are picturesque views-stunning buildings, lush greenery and a vibrant campus community-all nestled within the heart of Nashville. The entire Vanderbilt campus is designated as an arboretum with more than 6,000 trees and shrubs, representing over 190 species. Architectural Digest has repeatedly listed Vanderbilt among the most beautiful college campuses in America.
All of these factors make Vanderbilt an incredible place to be and an incredible place to take photos. We asked our social media community to tell us their favorite places on campus to snap a picture. This is what they said!
1.) Wyatt Center
With its magnificent rotunda, Wyatt Center is the largest and grandest of the buildings on the Peabody Campus. Originally built in 1914 and 1915, the building underwent extensive renovations in the mid 1990's and has been transformed into a state of the art technology teaching and learning center for Vanderbilt's Peabody College of Education and Human Development.
