Vanta Boosts ANZ Presence with New Data Centre, Compliance

Vanta

Providing ANZ companies with more ways to achieve and scale compliance and demonstrate trust

SYDNEY--BUSINESS WIRE--

Vanta, the leading trust management platform, today announced its expansion in the ANZ region with a new Australian data centre, support for local frameworks including CPS 234 and Essential Eight, and an increased in-region support team. Underscoring Vanta's continued investment in the ANZ market, the new offerings will enable customers to streamline their compliance efforts and balance local regulations with international standards.

"As Vanta continues expanding our presence in the ANZ region, we're ensuring that our customers have more control over where their data is stored and can provide confidence that their data is safe, secure, and accessible," said Jonathon Coleman, General Manager, APAC, Vanta. "We're committed to helping ANZ businesses confidently scale their compliance programs, providing them with the localized capabilities and expertise needed to strengthen their security and compliance, and demonstrate trust."

Vanta's new AWS Australian data centre is located in Sydney, New South Wales, and allows ANZ-based organisations to store their data securely within the region, providing a new option for meeting regulatory requirements and internal policies on data residency.

Support for CPS 234 and Essential Eight

Vanta now provides robust support for the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) CPS 234 framework, a critical regulation for financial institutions to protect sensitive data and maintain resilience against cyber threats. Vanta provides an automated, centralized path towards satisfying the CPS 234 framework, helping customers understand new controls and policy requirements, and enabling them to easily implement and maintain CPS 234 compliance.

Vanta also facilitates compliance for the Essential Eight framework that requires Australian businesses to bolster their cybersecurity defenses. With Vanta, companies can automate the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of their Essential Eight Level 2 compliance, allowing them to protect their business and build trust with customers.

As companies scale, it can cost considerable time and resources to manually achieve compliance. Vanta streamlines and automates security and compliance processes so that companies can easily get and remain compliant. With Vanta, ANZ companies have the ability to satisfy local regulations as well as international standards including SOC 2 and ISO 27001, all in one place.

"Doing our SOC 2 audits in Vanta has freed up so much of our time," said Nathan Miller, Head of Information Security & Compliance, Dovetail. Before, it took four senior people sixty hours of work to get it done - we've got that down to five hours."

Expanded In-Region Expert Team

Combining purpose-built technology with expert human guidance, Vanta helps ANZ companies navigate the ever-shifting world of security and compliance as they establish and scale their programs.

Since opening its Sydney office in November 2022, Vanta has increased its locally-based team by 5x including customer success and technical support to ensure ANZ customers are set up for success. Vanta now serves hundreds of customers in the ANZ region across a variety of industries and company sizes, helping them meet both local and international compliance standards with confidence and ease. In the coming year, Vanta will continue growing its presence in-region, bringing both the products and on-the-ground support for local customers to further demonstrate trust with Vanta.

"With Vanta by our side, we're confident in our ability to navigate the complexities of compliance while continuing to deliver exceptional value to our customers," said Nick Nikolaiev, Co-founder, Tactiq. "As Tactiq continues to pursue expansion and innovation, Vanta remains an indispensable partner."
