Vehicle And Pedestrian Crash Appeal, Hodgson Vale

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious vehicle and pedestrian traffic crash at Hodgson Vale, south of Toowoomba, on December 31.

Initial investigations indicate that shortly before 9pm, a while single cab Hilux was travelling along Windermere Drive before striking a pedestrian near Hazelmere Court.

The Hilux did not stop and continued travelling north on Windermere Drive.

The pedestrian, a 57-year-old Toowoomba man, was transported to Princess Alexandra hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
