Vic tourism gongs recognise Hume businesses

Melbourne Airport

and international home of retired champion racehorses, Living Legends, were both recognised and awarded at Victorian Tourism's night of nights.

The 2021 Victorian Tourism Awards awarded Living Legends silver in the Cultural Tourism category. Melbourne Airport was awarded silver in Major Tour and transport Operators.

Living Legends also received a certificate of recognition for their 'resilience to navigate the challenges of 2020 and 2021' and Melbourne's premier surf park URBNSURF was recognised as a finalist.

The visitor economy (tourism) is Hume City's fourth largest economic driver and continues to show growth, with an output of $2.193 billion and over 6,500 jobs, contributing to the economic prosperity of the city.
