A local from Langwarrin could be walking around unaware that they have won a $4.8 million prize from the latest Set for Life draw, held on Monday, 29 April 2024.
The winner, who holds the only division one winning entry nationally from draw 3189, is entitled to receive $20,000 monthly for the next 20 years.
However, the winning entry is unregistered meaning lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they must wait for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Euro Garages Australia – Frankston North, Caltex, McClelland Drive, Langwarrin.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she couldn’t wait to unite Victoria’s latest division one winner with their prize.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Euro Garages Australia – Frankston North to check their tickets today,” she said.
“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won Set for Life. Your plans for the next 20 years would certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account!
“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox. The winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize!
“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
