Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in Victoria Park on Friday 3 August 2018, which resulted in a man and a woman being seriously injured.
About 10.20pm, a blue 1994 model Ford Laser hatchback was travelling along Berwick Street, away from Canning Highway, when near Armagh Street, the driver lost control of her vehicle. The Ford Laser crossed the carriageway and collided with a red 2014 model Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchback which was travelling in the opposite direction along Berwick Street, WA Police say.
The driver of the Ford, a 59-year-old woman, received serious head and leg injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital.
The driver of the Alfa Romeo, a 45-year-old woman, received minor injuries and her 54-year-old male passenger received serious injuries in the crash. They were both conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or either of the vehicles prior to the crash. Anyone with any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
