Victoria names squads for U19 Male National Championships

Victoria have named their 14-player squads for the Under 19 Male Championships to take place in Adelaide this December.

Victoria Metro will once again be coached by former Victorian batter Travis Dean with former Ryder Medallist and Cricket Victoria Talent Development Specialist James Miller as an assistant coach.

Former first-class cricketer and Geelong CC Head Coach Nick Speak will coach Victoria Country alongside current Victorian-contracted bowler Xavier Crone as an assistant coach.

Ollie Peake will Captain Vic Country, while Christian Howe will lead Vic Metro.

Peake is one of four Victorian's returning to the state after the recent Australia U19 tour of India. Peake is joined by Harry Hoekstra (Vic Country), Christian Howe and Vishwa Ramkumar (Vic Metro).

The Under 19 Male National Championships are set to be hosted in Adelaide from December 11 to 19.
