The six-day tournament will take place at Marchant Park in Brisbane from January 19-24, showcasing the talent, determination, and sportsmanship of the best Australian cricketers with a disability.
Sixteen teams represent their states and territories in the T20 format tournament and players also compete for national selection in the Australian inclusion teams.
The four teams representing Victoria at the 2025 tournament on behalf of the Cricket Victoria Foundation include the Victorian Women's Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Men's Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind and Low Vision and Intellectual Disability teams.
Victoria enters the tournament as reigning champions across three divisions, looking to make a clean sweep across all four in 2025.
The Victorian Intellectual Disability team has won the tournament each of the past four years, while the Victorian Men's Deaf and Hard of Hearing won the Championships in 2023 and 2024 after a 20-year title drought.
With plenty of talent on display, players to watch include Blind and Low Vision Ashes representative and Victorian Captain Ned Brewer-Maiga, Justin Morgan, Charlotte O'Meara and Lachie Macrae.
"The National Cricket Inclusion Championships is an incredible event, showcasing talent and offers cricketers across the country the opportunity to come together and compete at the highest domestic level," Ned Brewer-Maiga said.
"It's a privilege to lead the Victorian Blind and Low Vision Squad in Brisbane and something I'm very much looking forward too, where together, we look to achieve success and showcase cricket as a game for all."
We wish our four Victorian teams safe travels and the best of luck for the tournament!
