Victoria has unveiled its 14-player squad for this week's WNCL matches against the South Australian Women.
Reigning WBBL Champions, Nicole Faltum, Georgia Prestwidge and Milly Illingworth headline the squad, with Meg Lanning and Sasha Moloney bringing a wealth of experience to the exciting group.
This weeks' matches will be Victoria's first since its impressive pair of wins over NSW back in October.
Sophie Day and Rhys McKenna will look to continue their stellar starts after being one of their side's top performers against NSW taking 4/32 and 4/43, while Ella Hayward (49) and Georgia Prestwidge (53 not out) have also been impressive.
Victorian Women's Head Coach, Andy Christie, said his squad was excited for the opportunity to get back on the field together.
"The squad is raring to go for this week," said Christie.
"We're really excited for the opportunity to play our first WNCL home match for the season at CitiPower Centre and continue to grow and build on the success we experienced earlier in October."
The Victorian Women face South Australia in the WNCL this week on Wednesday December 18 and Friday December 20, with both matches getting underway at 10 AM AEDT at CitiPower Centre. Attendance is free.
