Police have released new video of a man who may be able to assist with an investigation into two assaults on Brisbane buses in December.

Around 7.45pm on Sunday December 9, a 40-year-old man was sitting on a bus as it stopped on Maundrell Terrace in Chermside West when he was assaulted by a man exiting the bus.

In a separate incident, it is believed the same man assaulted and caused facial injuries to an 18-year-old woman at around 5.45pm on Wednesday December 12.

She was seated on a bus when it stopped on South Pine Road at Everton Park at the time of the assault.

Investigators are asking anyone who uses the bus network in Brisbane's north and who sees the man, to contact police immediately.

Investigations into the incidents are continuing.

The new vision starts at 00.35 and shows the man entering Anaconda Everton Park on South Pine Road on January 4.
