Wodonga food lovers have a reason to celebrate with the opening of The Vietnamese Guy Albury- Wodonga!
This vibrant eatery is the second location for the business, following the success of its original shop in Albury, which has been serving customers for nearly three years.
Specialising in fresh and healthy Vietnamese food, The Vietnamese Guy has gained a reputation for its flavourful dishes. Signature menu items include the roast pork banh mi, beef pho, chicken rice paper rolls, pork meatball salad bowl and the chicken bao buns.
Owners Jack and Jenny are excited to bring these flavours to the Wodonga community.
"There aren't many options for healthy and fresh food in Wodonga, so we saw an opportunity to bring something new to the community," Jenny said.
Jack said the decision to open a second location was inspired by the high demand from Wodonga locals travelling to the Albury shop.
Beyond serving great food with a team of 10 staff members, The Vietnamese Guy aims to foster connections with the local community.
"Our favourite thing about owning this business is building a sense of community and providing jobs," they said.
"We hope to create a welcoming space where families and friends can gather for special occasions like birthdays and Christmas celebrations."
Future plans for the business remain flexible, with the possibility of further expansion if opportunities arise. For now, the focus is on establishing the Wodonga location as a go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese dining.
Customers can enjoy dining in, placing phone orders, or booking for special events. It is also kid friendly with a small play pen for kids to play while the parents or carer enjoy their meals. The restaurant has also partnered with third-party delivery platforms like Menulog, Uber Eats, and DoorDash, making it easier than ever to enjoy their dishes at home.
