The CommBank Young Matildas will learn their group stage opponents for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Colombia 2024™ when the draw takes place on Thursday, 6 June at 1am (AEST) and can be followed live on FIFA+.
The event will take place at Hall 74 Centro de Eventos in the Colombian capital and start at 10:00 local time. The draw will define the group-stage matchups and subsequent pathways at the tournament's 11th edition, the first to feature 24 teams, up from the 16 at previous tournaments.

Australia qualified for the tournament after finishing as top four team in the recent AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup, coming home with a Bronze Medal and booking their spot in a second consecutive FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
Leah Blayney's side has been allocated to Pot 3, with teams allocated based on their performances in the 5 previous U-20 Women's World Cups. Australia will be unable to be drawn against their AFC counterparts in the group stage, meaning Japan, Korea DPR and Korea Republic will not take on the Young Matildas int the group stage.
