Detectives from the VIPER Taskforce seized cigarettes, looseleaf tobacco and cash after executing a warrant at a tobacco store on Spencer Street in Melbourne's CBD on Tuesday morning (18 March).
Alongside officers from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the VIPER members walked there on foot from the Victoria Police Centre.
Police had received information to suggest the store was allegedly selling illicit tobacco products.
Over 6500 cigarettes, two kilograms of looseleaf tobacco and a quantity of cash were seized from the store.
The TGA seized a quantity of illicit vapes.
A 58-year-old Fawkner woman is expected to be charged on summons.
