The Virtual Anatomy Lab (VAL) offers high-tech team-based learning for UConn medical and dental students. Sixteen radiology workstations mirrors the experience of a radiology reading room and four virtual anatomy tables offers a slice-by-slice view that correlates with what students are learning in the human anatomy lab. The VAL gives students an authentic experience with current imaging methods that prepares them well for their future careers.
