The VRAWA (Inc) is a small, socially oriented, mixed club for owner riders of Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycles.
The club is part of the world wide Vulcan Riders Association whose motto is Friendship.
There are more than 10,000 VRA members worldwide.
The VRAWA hosted the first ever Vulcan Riders World Rally in Perth in October 2015 and it attracted a contingent of overseas Vulcan riders, many of whom brought their bikes with them.
The second Vulcan Riders World Rally was held in October 2018 in the Margaret River region.
It too attracted a significant contingent of overseas Vulcan riders.
Each year the VRAWA hosts the popular Vulcan Riders West Coast Rally in a different part of WA.
In recognition of the number of Vulcan riders on the East coast of Australia, the VRAWA is now hosting the first ever Vulcan Riders Association National Rally in the Albury-Wodonga area.
Between 30 and 50 bikes and riders are anticipated over the weekend of 5-7 October 2019.
Only Vulcan motorcycle rider owners can register for the rally.
The rally kicks off with registration on Friday evening and a meet and greet for all participants.
The rally will be centred around the Boomerang Hotel in Albury.
A ride out has been set for Saturday morning to take riders along the Hume weir over the famous Bethanga Bridge to the Bridge Hotel at Jingellic for lunch.
On Sunday morning we ride as a group from the Boomerang Hotel, Lavington via the main street of Albury to the show and shine in Wodonga.
The public will be invited and encouraged to vote for the best bike on show.
We then head to Yackandandah for lunch before returning to Albury-Wodonga for the trophy presentation and evening meal at the Boomerang Hotel.
The Vulcan Riders National Rally is open to all owner riders of Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycles.
