Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall congratulated all the WA medallists and finalists for their dedication to business excellence and making WA a diverse and welcoming tourism destination for guests.
"All WA medallists from the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards demonstrated a profound commitment to showcasing the world-class tourism experiences WA has to offer, both in Perth and across the regions," Mr Hall said.
"Now is a perfect time to book a trip in Western Australia and add these National Award winners to the list of must-do experiences."
Businesses which won Gold in their respective category at the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards last November became finalists in the Australian Tourism Awards.
At the event, Fremantle and Rottnest Island were announced as the hosts for the next Australian Tourism Awards in March 2026. Mr Hall congratulated Tourism WA, Business Events Perth and the City of Fremantle on putting forward a competitive bid and securing the hosting rights for the Australian tourism industry's night of nights.
"Hosting the Australian Tourism Awards means hundreds of industry representatives from across the country will get the opportunity to experience all that Western Australia has to offer, and positions the state as a premier events destination," he said.
