West Australianshaveonce again showed how generous they are, bygetting behindThe Salvation ArmysAnnual Christmas Appealandspreading somemuch-neededcheer to those doing it tough in our community.
The Appeal, which ranfrom 15November till 13 December, asked for West Australians to donate unwrapped giftsor non-perishable food items to one of the43 participating REIWA real estate agency collection points.
REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi said after going onlinein 2020due COVID-19, it was wonderful to see REIWA agenciesconnecting with theirlocalcommunities and opening their doors tothe WA public toaccept physical giftsand donations.
REIWA and its agents have been supporting the Salvos Christmas Appeal since2015and I am pleased to say2021was our best turnout ever, with more REIWA agenciesvolunteering as collection points than ever before.
Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but it can also be achallenging time for those doing it tough. Thank you to everyone who donated to this years appeal, yourgenerositywill go a long way towardsbringing some festive cheer to those experiencing hardshipin our community,MrPozzi said.
