  • New centre will service growing South West population

The new Department of Transport (DoT) Centre in Busselton is a step closer, with Devlyn Australia appointed as the successful contractor for the fit-out of the new centre.

The contract, which is valued at over $700,000, was awarded to the Western Australian company following a competitive tender process.

Devlyn Australia, which has an office in Bunbury, plans to start the fit-out in the coming weeks, with approximately 90 per cent of the contract value to be spent in the South West region.

The new fit-out of the DoT centre will include four sit-down counters, including a dedicated Practical Driving Assessment counter.

The new centre will also include increased access to the computerised theory and hazard perception testing and DoT services previously unavailable in Busselton such as National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker screening checks, jetty licence payments and over-the-counter support for passenger transport operators.

The centre will be located at Unit 1, 57 Cook Street, Busselton, providing customers with a convenient one-stop-shop for their licensing and transport needs.
