The current export approval for the Western Australian Temperate Demersal Gillnet and Demersal Longline Fisheries expires on 20 August 2024. The fishery is undergoing assessment for ongoing export accreditation.
The public consultation period for assessment for export accreditation will be open until COB 30 May 2024.
