Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Waeel, between Meckering and Cunderdin, today, Sunday 8 September 2024.
About 12:10pm, a red Suzuki motorcycle was being ridden west on Great Eastern Highway. At the same time a white Chevrolet Silverado utility, which was towing a caravan, was being driven east on the same road. The motorcycle and the caravan being towed by the Chevrolet collided with each other.
The 58-year-old male rider and his 53-year-old female pillion passenger sustained serious injuries and were flown to Royal Perth Hospital by an RAC Rescue helicopter.
