Funded by the EU Jean Monnet Actions programme (Erasmus +), the Centre will focus on corporate sustainability's practical applications, particularly in the EU and with focal points in Ukraine (Yaroslav Mudriyi National Law University, Kharkiv) and Serbia (Belgrade Centre for Human Rights).
"Transposition and implementation challenges that member states, candidate countries and companies will face in the coming months and year, will be a key research area. Those findings will benefit businesses and practitioners who can better prepare themselves for the upcoming legal and policy developments." says Nadia Bernaz, Associate Professor of the Law Group and Director of the Centre of Excellence on Corporate Sustainability and Human Rights Law at Wageningen University & Research
Through research, workshops, podcasts, and policy recommendations, it aims to promote responsible business conduct and human rights.
"The launch event is unmissable because we have an amazing line-up with key institutions represented by high profile speakers. Every one of the participants are key contributers, and to have them all coming is a great achievement we are very proud of. And also Lara Wolters who is a sitting member of the EU Parliament." shared Nadia Bernaz.
