Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred about 6.30am today, Tuesday 9 July 2019.
The crash occurred at the junction of South West Highway and Willowdale Road in Wagerup when a silver colour Toyota Echo was attempting to turn right from South West Highway into Willowdale Road and was struck by a grey Mazda BT50 that was travelling along South West Highway.
The driver of the Toyota Echo, a man in his 40s, died as a result of injuries received in the crash. The 17-year-old male driver of the Mazda received minor injuries.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or either vehicle prior to the crash, particularly anyone who was in the area and has dashcam vision.
