A huge shout out to all the Cathys and Heathcliffs who came together from across the Riverina and from places as far as Canberra and even Melbourne on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Wagga Wagga's MOST WUTHERING HEIGHTS DAY EVER.
The event gave Riverina fans a chance to re-enact Kate Bush's landmark 1978 'Wuthering Heights' dance and music video as part of the FRESH 2024 Intergenerational Program.
Owner of Luxe Dance Studio Wagga Hayley Allen-Freeman said, "I can't express how moving this whole experience has been.
"From four weeks of rehearsals to 'wuthering' our little hearts out."
Council's Community Development Officer Victoria Lowe said 42 fans, aged between five and 89, braved the wintry conditions to join the thousands of other people taking part in the event, heldat locations around the world.
"It was wonderful to see the pure and utter joy and delight on their faces," Ms Lowe said.
"We can't wait to 'wuther' with you Wagga Wagga again in 2025!"
