Police are seeking assistance from the public to help locate Jalal Homsi who is wanted over a serious assault at Bedford Park.
On Friday 13 December 2019, Jalal Homsi allegedly assaulted a woman with a machete causing a deep laceration to her hand. Homsi then forced the victim to withdraw cash at a bank before she managed to escape and alert police.
The victim and suspect are known to each other.
Jalal Homsi, 31, is described as a being of Caucasian appearance, 190cm tall with a medium build, olive complexion and short black hair.
Anyone who sees Jalal Homsi is asked not to approach him but report any sightings immediately to police on 131 444 or information on his whereabouts can be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
