A 28-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants for multiple offences has been arrested in the state's south.
About 6pm on Friday (6 September 2024), police attached to South Coast Police District executed a search warrant on a property in Redgum Road, Wolumla.
During the execution of the search warrant, police allegedly located and seized three firearms and ammunition, and a large amount of stolen property.
At 8pm, a member of the public contacted Triple 0, after seeing a man matching the description of the wanted man walking along Mogilla Road, Candelo.
The man was arrested without incident and taken to Bega Police Station where the outstanding warrants were executed.
He was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court today (Saturday 7 September 2024).
A 49-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with police pursuit not stop.
She was granted bail to appear before Bega Local Court on Tuesday 24 September 2024.
