Police are asking for the public's assistance to locate wanted man, Simon Newchurch.
It will be alleged Simon Newchurch was under police guard when he escaped lawful custody from the Murray Bridge Hospital just before 6.30pm on Saturday 13 November.
Simon Newchurch, 29, of Narrung, is Aboriginal, 180 cm tall, with a medium build, blonde hair and grey eyes. He was wearing a black top, black pants and no shoes, and was handcuffed to the front.
He should not be approached.
Police are currently searching the Murray Bridge area with the assistance of PolAir and Police Dog Rusty.
Anyone who spots Simon Newchurch or has any information on his whereabouts should contact the police assistance line immediately on 131 444 or Triple Zero in an emergency.
