Wardell Event Invites Connection, Play, Creativity on June 30

Connect, Play and get Creative at the Wonderful Wardell event Sunday 30 June

Wonderful Wardell is a fun one day event, offering the community an opportunity to get creative, catch some tunes and share time with family and friends.

The western end of Richmond Street in Wardell will come alive with free, fun, and playful activities for people of all ages along with a great line up of the region's most imaginative artists and facilitators, musicians, and performers.

PROGRAM

  • 10am Welcome to Country by Aunty Susan Anderson
  • 10.15am - 11am Andrea Soler Ukelele Workshop (byo uke)
  • 10.30am - 12.30pm Kate Stroud mural art
  • 11.20am - 12.05pm Andrea Soler gig
  • 12.25am - 1.10am Bella Frankie
  • 1pm - 3pm Jeremy Austin paving art
  • 1.30pm - 2pm Evans River High Band
  • 2.15pm - 3pm Serendipiti

CREATIVE PROGRAM

From 10am – 3pm there will be a range of family friendly creative art workshops for all ages, skill levels and abilities including:

  • Jugan Dandii gentle fibre weaving with Aunty Tania Marlowe and Deb Cole
  • Roundabout Theatre Pop up Play Space - games and play activities with performative characters
  • The Chalkies collaborative chalk mosaic with Dee Redley
  • Let's Stick Together collective collage with Claudie Frock and Gee Gee Griffin
