Kingston is urging residents and visitors alike to liven their winters with A Day in Mordi Village on Saturday 22 July.
The Mordialloc Industrial Precinct is home to an innovative and creative mix of makers and producers and we're showcasing a stack of existing and emerging local businesses at this one-day event, offering plenty of excuses to spend the day immersed in artisanal goodness.
Enjoy gourmet food, tastings, workshops, tours, and art classes and shop for one-off homewares and eclectic vintage treasures, plus more.
There will also be a variety of family activities (many of them free) to get involved in during the day, and into the night. Some of these require bookings – so get in quick!
Meet the makers and learn all about their passion for their craft:
- Bikecraft
- Braeside Brewing co
- BrightSide Art
- The Flying Anvil Blacksmith
- Curbside Coaching
- Dylan Black Furniture
- Guras Cacao
- Hansa's Steak & Grill
- Wildsoul Wellness
- Mordialloc Vintage Market
- Urban Ground

The event also offers the opportunity for a free guided tour of the Epsom Conservation Reserve and surrounding wetlands, where the community can learn about the natural landscape, its history and the work undertaken to preserve these important green spaces and get insights into the Per-Urban Weed Management partnership program, which is run in collaboration with the Bunurong Land Council.
Bordered by Governor Road and the Epsom Conservation Reserve, Mordi Village is where you will find this collective of local hidden gems.
