Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a burglary at Taylors Hill overnight, Victoria Police say.
It is believed four unknown offenders in a LandCruiser and a white Mazda van have attended the Watervale shopping centre about 3.55am
The unknown offenders drove the four-wheel-drive through the doors of the shopping centre.
The LandCruiser was then followed into the centre by the van.
The thieves removed an automated teller machine and loaded it into the van.
The offenders left in the Mazda van with the ATM.
This van is believed to have been stolen from Northcote between the 16th and 30th of March and has not been recovered.
The LandCruiser was left at the scene and will be examined by police.
Detectives are urging anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen Mazda to contact Crime Stoppers.
