A teenage dirt bike rider was arrested following a series of traffic-related incidents yesterday in the Fawkner area, Victoria Police say.
Police observed the 16-year-old allegedly performing a mono and waving at them during an attempted intercept near a shopping strip on Major Road yesterday afternoon.
The rider fled the scene.
Whilst patrolling the area, police received numerous reports in relation to a dirt bike riding erratically.
With the assistance of the Air Wing, local police were able to locate the rider at an address on Amery Street in Reservoir.
The teenager was arrested and the motorcycle seized.
He was charged with conduct endangering life, dangerous driving while pursued by police, evade police and unlicensed driving.
The teen will face a children’s court at a later date.
